OTS optical transmission tool setter can be used as part of a twin probe system, either with another OTS, or with a spindle probe.
The OTS is a new optical transmission tool setter for vertical and horizontal machining centers. Modeled on the TS27R, OTS can set tool length and diameter of rotating tools and perform broken tool detection.
